About us

Espresso Coding

Espresso Coding is a new service from Espresso Education that teaches students to code and make their own apps to share with their friends and parents. It is a simple yet powerful tool that allows schools to deliver easily this new area of the Computing curriculum that will be mandatory from September 2014.

Espresso Coding has been authored and designed by Max Wainewright. Max is one of the foremost designers of digital tools for the primary classroom. He has developed many awarding winning programs which are in daily use in the primary classroom. Espresso Coding combines Max's knowledge of programming, and his recent classroom experience of teaching coding, with Espresso's expertise in delivering stimulating content to a wide user base, and supporting it with first-class service and support.

Espresso Coding has been built by Max and Espresso's in-house team programmers and educationalists, based in Hammersmith, London.
